Teaching dance since 1993, Garry Johnson has earned a reputation as a knowledgeable dancer and teacher. He truly loves to share what he has learned with dancers of all levels. He found dancing through a push from his mom at a young age, and loves to recount his beginnings, so don't be shy to ask him. Garry specializes in teaching the fine art of social dancing, and believes it should be treated, and studied as seriously as "competitive" dancing. He considers himself an eternal student of dance and music: This includes studying and doing other dance styles and percussion to increase his Jedi powers. Garry says "you never really know from reading a bio on the Internet if someone is the right dance teacher for you, so the best thing to do is come try a class in person. I am very proud of the Bay Area social dance scene, we have one of the best. Hope to see you become part of it."
